In the trailer, the authors tell the story of a brave heart whose only existence was to exist for its motherland. RAW tells the story of the most decisive battle of the subcontinent. With this war, the world has witnessed the greatest military capitulation ever recorded by a country since the Second World War. Nearly a third of the Pakistani army was held captive.

John Abraham had already revealed that he would be seen under eight appearances in the film. To clear up the same thing, he had said, "I have eight different looks in the movie. The effort of giving me these looks is immense. It takes time but is worth it. They created a casting to give me the desired look. I play everything from an 85-year-old man to a 26-year-old man, and this is probably the most difficult role in my life. I realized that today's cinema is about taking on challenges. It's not about showing big disco dance moves in a project. I get good nervous energy when I'm preparing for a difficult film and RAW is in this space.
Besides John, the film also stars Jackie Shroff and television actress Mouni Roy, who debuted at Bollywood with Akshay Kumar in "Gold."
The film directed by Robbie Grewal is produced by Dheeraj Wadhwan, Ajay Kapoor, Vanessa Walia and Gary Grewal.
