The long-awaited trailer of RAW by John Abraham also known as Romeo Akbar Walter was released. The trailer, especially that of John, captures you in a way that you do not even realize before the end of the trailer.
This trailer begins with John's training at a camp. This is a family man. We can easily say this because in a scene, we can hear John say: " Jo bhi ho, meri ammi ka hamesha khyaal jaey rakha . (Whatever happens, I have need protection for my mother). " John has a lover to Mouni Roy and a mother who wants him to come back to her. However, John's love for his country surpbades them both. Thus, the man, badigned to stay in Pakistan as a spy, willingly agreed to do so.
Jackie Shroff plays John Abraham's lead role in the film and Sikander Kher plays the role of a Pakistani policeman who lives John's hell. Honestly, John's character seems to have been drawn by Wing Commander Abhinandan Varthaman, who was captured in Pakistan for a long time before being sent back to India. There is a scene where John flatly refuses to be an Indian spy as bravely as Abhinandan said in the viral videos: "Sorry sir, I'm not supposed to tell you that."
The film goes back to the Indo. The Pakistan war in 1971, just after the division of the two countries. Jackie tells John Abraham that he wants to prepare the latter for a mission that can change the future of India. After that, John begins to transform a man with different identities, none of which can be recognized.
What caught our attention is the fact that, despite the beatings and injuries sustained, John does not utter a word and does not rise as much as his. hand on the other person. What makes him so shy, is what held our mind throughout the trailer.
One can see the patriot greet the Indian national flag from what appears to be the border between India and Pakistan. Even though he seems to have lost, John Abraham smokes a cigarette in the final scene of the trailer. This man seems to have finally lived to tell his story.
Here is the trailer:
Directed by Robbie Grewal, the film was originally going to Sushant Singh Rajput in the lead role. Romeo Akbar Walter is produced by Viacom18 Motion Pictures, Dheeraj Wadhwan, Ajay Kapoor, Vanessa Walia and Gary Grewal and is scheduled for release on April 5, 2019.
