Romeo Akbar Walter trailer: John Abraham becomes super spy

After the success of patriotic dramas Parmanu: The story of Pokhran and Satyameva Jayate last year, Bollywood star John Abraham is ready to serve another movie in the same direction with his next RAW release – Romeo Akbar Walter. The producers have recently released the film's trailer and RAW is brimming with action sequences, dramatic moments and a patriotic fervor.

In the almost three-minute clip, we meet the character of John formed. to be a spy for the country's intelligence agency, RAW. During the film, the actor will likely be seen in three completely different avatars of Romeo, Akbar and Walter.

The film is inspired by actual incidents and takes place in 1971, while India and Pakistan were on the eve of a war. We see Jackie Shroff at the top of John's cover and, in various shots of the video, we see Jackie asking John for a sacrifice to serve his nation selflessly. Later, we see John crossing the border and working in tandem with the RAW as an undercover agent.

Television star Mouni Roy, who made his Bollywood debut last year with Akshay Kumar starrer Gold, is also featured in the promo. However, his role in the film is still unknown.

When asked if the film glorified the war, John Abraham, at the launch of the movie trailer, said, "If Hollywood can make war movies and glorify soldiers, why we? This is the new India. We want to make different movies and entertain the audience.

In addition to John, Mouni and Jackie, the film also stars Sikander Kher and Suchitra Krishnamoorthi in key roles. Directed and written by Robbie Grewal, Raw – Romeo Akbar Walter will be released on April 5th.
