On Friday, rumors circulated about the health of WWE Hall of Famer's Harley Race, following a comment by Ric Flair.
Ric Flair and Hulk Hogan gathered Friday night at the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Atlantic City, North Jersey for an event titled "Legends of the Ring". In front of the fans, wrestling legends discuss their respective careers and take part in a Q & A session moderated by WWE Hall of Famer Jimmy Hart.
The article most worthy of interest coming the event was not related to either legend, but rather to the WWE Hall of Famer Harley Race. Flair claimed that a terminally ill lung cancer had been diagnosed in Race, 75 years old.
The rumor began after a fan sent a tweet about Flair's complaint.
Ric Flair just revealed that Harley Race had terminal lung cancer.

David Marquez of the Hollywood Wrestling Championship went on Twitter today To say that Race has a lung cancer, but it is not terminally ill. Marquez has received news of the Race family, adding that Race remains very active with his promotion of World League Wrestling and his wrestling school in Troy, Missouri.

Mark sent a longer statement to PWInsider:
"I come from talk to the Harley Race family and it's true that he's been diagnosed with lung cancer, but it's not terminally ill. He is looked after and supervised by his doctors.
"He is still very active in the Harley Race Wrestling Academy and his promotion, World League Wrestling.
"The match of the NWA Worlds Championship, which will take place next weekend at WLW's" Night of Champions "is still topical and I had already planned to attend .
"Harley and his family appreciate the concerns of all and ask the public to give him time to rest."
Wrestling today issued a statement about Race via Facebook:
"A lot is said about the health of the owner of World League Wrestling – Harley Race, at which point he asks fans to respect the privacy of Mr. Race and his family." He appreciates all the concerns fans all over the world, but until he chooses the moment to react to situations, he wants his personal life to remain personal.
