Produced by Shah Rukh Khan's Red Chillies Entertainment starring Amitabh Bachchan and Taapsee Pannu, Badla is released on March 8.

Before the beginning of the film, which begins on March 8, Khan publishes a series of videos in which he discusses everything with Bachchan, of – De Bachchan's first role in the way he was rejected by All India Radio ( AIR) for his voice (which is now considered legendary) and by the deep fear and admiration of Khan for him.

Bachchan also shared how he had auditioned for being a news reader in English and Hindi at AIR, but had been rejected both times. Incidentally, in a prolific career of actor spanning over 50 years, Bachchan has sung several songs, has been narrator in countless films and is revered for his rich baritone voice, which has been underlined repeatedly in several films such as Shamitabh .
Khan also had Bachchan sign a rejected poster of Badla that Bachchan really liked, but that Khan did not adopt. Notably, the two superstars worked together in several films, including Mohabbatein and Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham . Khan also starred in the remake of the hit film Bachchan Don in 1978 and briefly replaced it to animate the iconic play show Kaun Banega Crorepati .
