Kasauti Zindagi Ki update written, March 8, 2019: Prerna provides proof of marriage with Anurag to Mohini

Tonight's episode begins with Prerna mocking Komolika about the lack of vermilion on her. Komolika then asks him for proof of marriage, perhaps a selfie or a certificate. Nivi comments on how Prerna had to dream of marriage and that only Komolika is Anurag's wife. Prerna tells them that she has never denied that Komolika is Anurag's wife. Prerna only declares that she is the first woman. Veena searches for Prerna and asks Shivani, who swears that she does not know where she is. However, at the Basu residence, Prerna asks Anurag to speak alone with her, because she does not want to disrespect anyone. Mohini loses her temper and drags Prerna but she calls her mother-in-law and tells her that she has the same rights at home. Mohini becomes restless and asks Prerna for a proof.

Prerna first states that Durga Ma is the proof since they were married to an idol of Durga Ma. However, everyone insists on the requirement of proof to be able to believe it. Prerna then goes out saying that she will get the proof. As soon as Prerna goes away, Mohini and Nivi immediately ask Anurag if Prerna is telling the truth. Anurag says nothing but Mohini badumes that Prerna is only trying to disturb the peace of the house. She asks the pandit to start with the post-marriage rituals. Prerna asks them to end the ritual and announces that she brought an eyewitness. The pandit who was in the temple of Durga the night of their marriage and even blessed their union.

Prerna asks Anurag when he remembers the pandit who blessed them. Anurag admits that he remembers the pandit and the marriage. Mohini is shocked and Prerna is relieved that Anurag has finally told the truth. Prerna then expresses her frustration as to how she was hurt when she heard about her second marriage. She came running to her house to stop the marriage, in the same way that he stopped his marriage with Naveen. She then went to the same temple where the pandit revealed that she was married to Anurag. Prerna then explains how, when Anurag applied the kumkum of the idol, some fell on his forehead, which marked a union. They also exchanged a favorable thread which then affirmed their marriage. With this, Prerna announces that she will settle in the residence Basu with Anurag.
