One month after the release of the film, director Omar Lulu revealed shocking information about the film. Priya Prakash Varrier, who was not even the main actress of the film, became an overnight sensation with her wink song. After which the producer of the film forced the director Omar Lulu to rework the scenario. During an interview, Omar also confessed that he had had problems with the producer and accused him of not paying his dubbing rights for the film. The director also revealed that Noorin Shereef, who was the main lead of the film, was a better performer than Priya Prakash Varrier. He also added that he was in no way in touch with Priya Prakash Varrier.
