Actress Tanishaa Mukerji, sister of actor Kajol, said in a report that she had faced a racist attack in New York earlier this week. The actor was in the United States to attend the CRY America Charity Gala and then visited a restaurant with his friends when a man made unresponsive remarks.

She said she had spoken to the hotel authorities , but that no help was forthcoming. "I told them to call the cops, but they refused to do it," she said.Last season she was attending the reality show Khatron Ke Khiladi two years ago.
