Kalank is a drama that would take place in the 1940s. It is also performed by Sonakshi Sinha, Sanjay Dutt, Madhuri Dixit and Aditya Roy Kapur. Producer Karan Johar had previously stated that it was the last film on which his father Yash Johar had worked before his death. Kalank is led by Abhishek Varman and will be released in April. Kalank is the fourth collaboration of Alia and Varun after the student of the year, Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania and Badrinath Ki Dulhania.
