PM Modi makes a call from Filmi to Bollywood and Sidhu stars smartly picked up in the show by Kapil Sharma

Bollywood celebrities are often invited to campaign for parties to ensure a high turnout. Prime Minister Narendra Modi has solicited Bollywood stars to ensure increased participation in the upcoming Lok Sabha polls. He posted a series of tweets asking Bollywood celebrities, including Karan Johar, Amitabh Bachchan, Shah Rukh Khan and Salman Khan, to urge them to encourage young people to vote.

Navjot Singh Sidhu was not part of Kapil Sharma's show as a result of an uproar following his remarks during the terrorist attack in Pulwama, Feb. 14, which killed 40 soldiers of the CRPF. But comedian Kiku Sharda found a clever way to mention the Punjabi minister on the show when the team of the winning team of the 1983 Cricket World Cup made its appearance.

The Sunday episode of Kapil's show Sharma saw Kapil Dev lead his team comprising Mohinder Amarnath, Sandeep Patil, Dilip Vengsarkar, Krishnamachari Srikkanth, etc. When Kiku Sharda welcomed the guests, he thanked the legends for participating in the show. Then he looked at Harbhajan sitting in Sidhu's seat and said that Sidhuji looked rather small in front of the legendary cricketers.
