Before the Avengers Endgame, Robert Downey Jr publishes a picture of Captain America, Iron Man sharing a shield, my love. Chris Evans' answer is hilarious | Hollywood

Actors Chris Evans and Robert Downey Jr. are known for their online bromance and their fans often part with their jokes. In a new Twitter exchange, the two journalists gave Marvel fans more reason to take root in the friendship between Captain America and Iron Man before the release of Avengers: Endgame.

Downey shared a photo of Captain America and Iron Man's toy figures taking refuge under the Cape shield after the rain (or a single sparkler in this case). "The best friends let you share their umbrellas, is not it @ChrisEvans?" Writes Downey in his tweet. Evans replied, "Technically, it's YOUR umbrella. But I'm happy to hold it.

Evans is not wrong though. The vibranium shield was made by Tony's father many years before his birth. It was given to Steve Rogers when he became Captain America. The shield may be at Avengers' headquarters where Tony put him after taking him to Steve in Captain America: Civil War.

Technically, it's YOUR umbrella. But I'm happy to hold it. https://t.co/tFqWFqCSv3

Of course, their fans loved this "social flirt". "The iconic duo and they know it," wrote a fan. "Great friends who help each other make me happy," tweeted another. "Just get married already," wrote another. Check out other reactions:
