Actress Deepika Padukone unveiled a wax statue of herself to Madame Tussauds in London on Thursday. The actress, 33, was accompanied by her husband, actor Ranveer Singh, and it was hard to say who was more sensitive to the wax statue: Ranveer or Deepika? Deepika Padukone surprised the fans who had gathered around the wax statue and later, Ranveer Singh joined his wife on the stage. In one of the videos, currently broadcast on social media by fan clubs, one can hear Ranveer say, "Can I bring her home?" Deepika's parents, Prakash and Ujjala Padukone, and Ranveer's parents Jagjit Singh and Anju Bhavnani also attended the unveiling.
