I only wish fans could watch the finale of this series on the big screen! HBO chief Richard Plepler said: "Some fans have been disappointed that the episodes of the final season do not last two hours each," but he said the latest episodes would be "like six movies". [19659004] Although episodes do not last two hours, one hour and twenty minutes are considered feature films, so fans should not complain. As long as we have an epic conclusion to this incredible fantasy story, I'll be happy. 19659004] Game of Thrones returns to HBO for the eighth and final season, April 14, each episode will air on HBO at 9 pm EST.
