YouTube sensation Lilly Singh becomes the first woman to host a late-night show called "A Little Late with Lilly Singh". The show will be broadcast in September.

This decision comes after Carson Daly announced his resignation from his role as host of NBC's "Last Call" television show.

Priyanka Chopra, close friend of Lilly Singh and star of Quantico, wished "the first Indo-Canadian bibadual woman of color" in the most special way that is. Sharing a picture of them together, Priyanka wrote: "So proud of @iisuperwomanii … First woman … of color … animated late at night … Break them, baby! So proud".
With over 14 million subscribers on YouTube, Lilly Singh made her big announcement on Jimmy Fallon 's show. She said, "I'm so excited because I can really create a show out of nothing, I have to include it … and create something that I really believe in."

Priyanka Chopra's co-star of "Malibu Alert", Dwayne Johnson, also congratulated Lilly.
Lilly Singh also attended Priyanka Chopra's wedding in Udaipur last year.
Singh's show will last half an hour and she will conduct studio interviews with a variety of guests. She will also create and play in pre-recorded comedy sketches and signature segments, according to Entertainment Tonight.
Born to Indian parents in Canada, Singh is nicknamed Superwoman among her fans. It has more than 14 million subscribers on YouTube.
