Haarsh Limbachiyaa: I am what I am because of Bharti

The recently launched reality series Khatra Khatra Khatra entertains the public. Combining stunts and comedy, the show features among others Bharti Singh, Haarsh Limbachiyaa, Vikas Gupta, Aly Goni and Ridhima Pandit.

In addition to hosting it with Bharti, Haarsh is also the creator of Khatra Khatra Khatra. The producer-producer-turned-producer recently traded with indianexpress.com about the show, the popularity of his wife and the guests he plans to invite.

Q. How did you develop the idea of ​​Khatra Khatra Khatra?

I was on vacation in Goa, I was working on something else, when this idea struck me. I shared the idea with Colors and they summoned us for a meeting. Fortunately for us, the channel loved our idea and we are there.

After working on many non-fiction shows, all we talked about was the format. So for this show, there is no format. It is a group of friends having fun. In addition, it is very different from Khatron Ke Khiladi. Waha jaan pe baat thi yahan shaan pe (Khatron Ke Khiladi had tasks that threatened his life, but here there are some that threaten his reputation).

Q. Many people think that you have a lot to gain from Bharti's success. What do you feel?

Well, I would like to say that they are perfectly right! I am what I am because of Bharti. And if I do not rely on its success, who would? She is my wife. And I do not see anything wrong with that.

Q. Even if you have Bharti, why did you decide to do a show with so many celebrities?

Honestly, when I shared the idea with Bharti, she loved it. Khatra Khatra Khatra is all about friendship. It's almost like having a picnic together. There is no stress on the lines. It's less work and more fun. But yes, we all have trouble understanding each other's pranks.

Q. The show seems to be all about fun. As a producer, how difficult is it to manipulate all these stars?

It's all about pleasure. I tell them to come just in time. Rest everything is sorted. Once the camera is launched, we are just having fun. People also asked me about Bharti, but I have to tell you that, knowing that it's our own money, she's been a conscientious professional. She even pushes me to get up at the hour.

Q. Although the show is entertaining, it was scheduled at 6pm. Do you think that will affect his general audience?

Perhaps, but all these years, we have also seen successful shows in the same time slot. At the end of the day, it's about how much the audience likes to watch this show. And for those who can not be home at that time, there is a rebroadcast as well.

Q. Although we have mostly seen competitors of Khatron Ke Khiladi 9 in the series, who else would you like to invite?

At the present time, we certainly have competitors from Khatron Ke Khiladi, but we are also planning to attract more people. Recently, Usha Nadkarni shot with us and we would also like to have Krushna (Abhishek) bhai. And most importantly, our goal is to have Rohit Shetty participate in the series.
