In order to promote Urdu and make it popular with young people, the central government installs in Bollywood Autonomous Body of the Ministry of Human Resources Development, the National Council for the Promotion of the Urdu Language (NCPUL) is considering actors such as Salman Khan, Katrina Kaif and Shah Rukh Khan to approve the language. But it would seem that the Internet did not like the choices people have criticized the decision and have led the Modi government, especially for Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif.

A User from Twitter suggesting some better choices wrote: "The government should look at some of Salman Khan's and Katrina Kaif's work before choosing them." However, Salman's father would be a very good choice with Javed Akhtar and Amitabh Bhattacharya.
NCPUL has already published books in Urdu, organized conferences at the national and international levels, and also offers university courses s in Arabic and Urdu to promote the language.
The government body reportedly received a budget of 332.76 million rupees from the ruling government for the period 2014-19. Aquil Ahmed, director of the NCPUL, said: "We will approach Bollywood actors, well-known personalities like Shah Rukh Khan and Salman Khan and make them say a few lines in Urdu, then we will use these videos at our events."
