Hasan Minhaj receives too many requests from his fans to write an episode about the upcoming Indian elections and how could he disappoint his fans? He tried to divide the Lok Sabha Election 2019 for the global audience. In the latest episode of Netflix's Patriot Act, Hasan Minhaj badyzed the current state of Indian politics and also criticized Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

The comedian was expecting a backlash as his episode began as he discussed this idea with his family. and friends, who think it's a bad idea. However, he did not listen to them and the episode is already broadcast on Netflix.

Twitterati had a mixed response to his video. Some called this report biased and poorly documented, and started following the trends of #BoycottNetflix because they are not too happy with this episode. While others found this uncertain and asked viewers to watch it before Netflix removed it.
