Prime Minister of Canada, Justin Trudeau, to Lilly Singh: You Make Our Country Proud

Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau congratulated New Canadian Lilly Singh, nicknamed Superwoman, for shooting a major television show late in the evening and said the sensation on YouTube makes Canada proud.

Trudeau tweeted Sunday night: "Congratulations, super-woman, you make Canada proud and you make us laugh on the way."

Singh had the rare opportunity to host a late-night talk show on a large broadcast network – a feat for a woman of color.

She will replace Carson Daly as the host of the show. NBC's late-night television show The show will carry the title "A little late with Lilly Singh" and will be launched in September, making it the only woman currently to host a show- late night debate on one of the big networks, reported varieties.com.
