Seeing the honest request of Mishka, the policeman releases Komolika, warning him again. Back in Basu's house, Anupam is delighted to hear about Anurag's arrival. Mohini and Nivedita panic as Anurag returns while Prerna accompanies him. Anurag ignored answering questions and told them to ask Prerna about it. Mohini denounces at Prerna the idea of putting Komolika behind bars. Prerna answers Mohini's questions and explains how the police support what is right.
Prerna tells Mohini that she made a mistake in sending her husband with Komolika for their honeymoon, which she had to repair. Prerna warns Mohini and Nivedita not to force Anurag to do anything, which goes against the honesty of their relationship. She also warns them that if they plan anything against Prerna, she will ruin all their plans because she was rightly Anurag's first wife. Furious, Mohini swallows his anger and tells Nivedita that they must find a solution to Prerna's problem soon. Here, Anupam arrives in Anurag's room where he finds Anurag relaxed and anxious when Anurag is slow to tell him about the incidents that have occurred between them. Anurag tells everything to Anupam and is delighted with Prerna's victory over Komolika.
