Kasauti Zindagi Ki, written update, March 20, 2019: Anurag is saved by Prerna while Komolika is arrested

Tonight's episode begins with an anxious Komolika sitting on the bench with Anurag. She asks Anurag why he locked himself in the bathroom when the cops came in. Anurag gets nervous because he does not want that she catches his lie. So he tries to distract her but Komolika pleads to answer him. At this point in time, Anurag spots the police inspector who states that the person whose number was called arrives. While Anurag returns after talking to the inspector, Komolika tells Anurag that it is the Prerna affair. Anurag tries to defend Prerna but Komolika refuses to believe the same thing. They then see Prerna heading towards the police inspector with some other women. Anurag and Komolika are confused. Prerna goes to the inspector and declares that it is she who answered the call. The inspector says that Anurag was found with another woman in a shady hotel. Prerna calls the mistress of Anurag who infuriates Komolika. When Komolika goes to them to defend himself, it turns against them. The mandala mahila ladies claim to have received a complaint from Prerna against Anurag Basu for having a mistress while she was married to her. They claim Komolika and begin to accuse him of breaking someone's housework.

Mishka arrives late, but at that time, Komolika's drama, confronted with the wrath of the mandala mahila ladies, has begun. She waits from afar and looks at the scene with amusement. Komolika continues to make crises, but the ladies stress the fact that the elections are approaching and that everything she will do will affect her father's election campaign. The ladies then claim that Prerna is a good woman who is willing to accept her even though she is left with another woman. They then ask him to put Sindoor on his forehead to show that he repents of his actions. Komolika is furious, as Anurag has never applied sindoor to her forehead, again forcing women to question Komolika's claims about her marriage to Anurag. With that, he approaches Prerna and promises never to look at another woman. With that, he applies the sindoor on his forehead. They both remember the time he had promised at the temple and where the pandit had declared that she was his first wife. Anurag realizes that Prerna still loves him by moving away. Mishka stops Prerna in front of the police station and says congratulations for shooting down Komolika! While Anurag is asked to sign some papers, Komolika continues to be criticized for the policeman, he has her arrested.
