BollywoodLife had revealed exclusively that Varun Dhawan and Sara Ali Khan would team up for the movie Coolie No. 1. This cast has now been confirmed by the film's writer, Farhan Samji. Writer Farhad Samji confirmed that Sara was part of the film and that he was happy to collaborate with her again after the success of Simmba. After Judwaa 2 and Main Tera Hero, filmmaker David Dhawan teams up for the third time with his son and actor, Varun Dhawan, to revisit Govinda Starrer Coolie No. 1 and present it in a different form to the public. While Varun was already involved in the project, rumors that Sara Ali Khan would be thrown alongside Varun have now been dispelled.
Samji, who wrote the dialogues of David's project, told Mumbai Mirror: "This is a benefit. For any writer to work with a devoted actor like Varun, I recently told him the draft of the dialogue and he I immediately asked for a copy to allow him to repeat his aftershocks even though it was still time to move to the cinema.I look forward to teaming up with Sara for the second time. "
L & # 39; author adds that this film is neither a remake nor a sequel. Farhad, who benefits from the success of Rohit Shetty's director Simmba, made it clear that this project was more of an adaptation in a new format. He added that the film was written keeping in mind the sensitivity of the public of today.
And although they have not yet decided where to shoot, Farhad revealed that director Varun Dhawan-Sara Ali Khan would have a lot of humor, colors and bigger songs than nature. The film, which will be mounted on a large scale, should turn in July.
Talking about the original Coolie No. 1 film, released in 1995, he starred in Govinda, Karisma Kapoor, Kader Khan, and Shakti Kapoor. This film earned Govinda, the performer of the decade, the award at an awards ceremony. It is interesting to note that Coolie No. 1 was one of Karisma Kapoor's first blockbuster movies.
Coming back to David Dhawan's adaptation of Coolie No. 1, it will be interesting to see how Varun and Sara stun the audience with their chops.
