In the last episode of Naagin 3, we see how Bela had conflicting ideas about Ritwik's true identity. Later, Bela shares Hukum's story with him and seeks help.
In the previous episode Bela fears Hukum's attempts to approach her with the intention of giving birth to Andhakasur, the most powerful of demons. Later, Mahir introduces Ritwik as his cousin. Ritwik approaches Bela to show her room where she learns that Ritwik was a paranormal activist, an occultist. He asked Bela not to talk about his hobby with Mahir because it would bother him. Ritwik finds a dark energy around Bela and gives her a charm to keep with her for her protection. The charm falls from her hands as she sleeps and later, Bela wakes up hypnotized and tries to get out of the house. Mahir stops right at the time of and brings it into the room.
Seeing the state of Bela in the last a few days, Mahir becomes inflexible to know what she was going through. Bela tried to ignore her answer, but seeing her categorically, she informed Mahir of her doubts about her cousin, Ritwik. Bela told Mahir that she thought Ritwik was the cause of the problems in their lives. Here, Sumitra tells Yuvi to attack Bela and Mahir and he has to kill Mahir as he locks Bela in the room, leaving her alive. Sumitra insists on keeping Bela alive because she had another plan for her while Yuvi had to make sure Mahir was killed. Here, Bela, Mahir, Vish and Vikrant meet and decide to keep an eye on Ritwik to see if Ritwik was possessed by Hukum or if he was Hukum with Ritwik's face.
Ritwik leaves the house and Vish and Vikrant follow him. Seeing that Ritwik was preventing a child from being overturned by a car, Vish told Vikrant that they must be completely wrong to have a negative image of Ritwik. Meanwhile, Yuvi goes to the hall of Bela and Mahir and threatens to kill Mahir by choking him. Just as Yuvi held Mahir in his arms, he took out a bottle of magic flower and sprinkled Yuvi, because their area of the population was afraid. Mahir avoids Yuvi and badures Bela that he was strong enough to protect his wife, even though he was a human. Vikrant and Vish talk to them about the incident they witnessed about Ritwik, and Bela suggests that they call on Ritwik for help in fighting Hukum.
Later that night, Bela goes to Ritwik and asks him for help to fight Hukum. Ritwik offers Bela herbal tea and tells her to sit down and lock the room, which makes her uncomfortable. She asks Ritwik to unlock the room he is not paying attention to and tries to explain that it is for Bela's sake. Not wanting to get in trouble, Bela frees herself and goes off.
