Deepika Padukone released the first look of Meghna Gulzar's directorial title Chhapaak – based on the story of a survivor of an attack on the acid. The first look has blown the minds of her fans and Bollywood celebrities since she manages to seem unrecognizable in the lead role.

The plot and story of these two intense movies are very different from each other. Ajay's Tanhaji will tell the story of Maratha's commander, Tanaji Malusare, famous for his role in the battle of Sinhagad in 1670 AD. We will see the actor play the main role of the historical hero Tanaji. While Kajol will be seen in the role of Ajay's wife, Saif Ali Khan will play the leading antagonist role in the film directed by Om Raut.
Meanwhile, in Chhapaak Deepika will attempt the role of an attack on the surviving acid Malti and the story is based on the life of Laxmi Agarwal, a survivor of an attack with acidic acid. He also stars Vikran Mbadey as the main male.
