Shazam's movie! introduces fans Billy Batson and his alter-ego to superheroes, but does the film have a post-credit scene – and, if so, how much? The last entry in Warner Bros. and DC Films is unofficially titled in DC Extended Universe, Shazam! and tells the story of a 14-year-old foster child who becomes a superhero. The story of the original follows Billy Batson (Asher Angel) when he meets the magician Shazam (Djimon Hounsou), who grants the boy the powers necessary to become the superhero Shazam (Zachary Levi) . In the film, Billy has to face the evil Dr. Thaddeus Sivana (Mark Strong) and the Seven Deadly Sins.
Directed by David F. Sandberg after the screenplay by Henry Gayden, Shazam! . the last film of the DCEU on cinemas after the film of James Wan Aquaman . The film directed by Jason Momoa was a resounding success, with Aquaman garnering largely positive reviews and box office success. In fact, Aquaman was the first DCEU film to surpbad the billion-dollar global box office. Comparatively, early box office monitoring indicates that the opening weekend of Shazam! could be one of the worst of the CUSD. However, since Aquaman is the lowest opening weekend of the DCEU, this is not necessarily an indication Shazam! will not be a long-term success.
Now that Shazam! Released in movie theaters around the world, fans may be wondering if the film has a teaser during or after the credits. Shazam! has TWO post-credit scenes one in the middle of the credits and another in the end. So, although the credits are still worth visiting to get an idea of who participated in the making of the film, Shazam! viewers must know that there are also two scenes of credits to watch.
Viewers might wonder if the post-credit scenes of Shazam! are worth watching. Without spoiling one or the other scene, we can reveal that Shazam! adopted the typical placement of the Marvel Studios generic scene. That is, the mid-credits scene of Shazam! explicitly creates a sequel and is necessary to understand where Warner Bros and DC Films plan to take this franchise solo. The post-credit scene, however, is rather a fun joke that DC fans will appreciate. Curiously, however, the post-credit scene appeared in some of the trailers of Shazam!
