Sonam Kapoor, Shweta Bachchan and Karan Johar stun as they unite on the ramp

When Amitabh Bachchan and Jaya Bachchan sit in the front row, it's obvious to expect a fireworks display on the stage. Sunday night has turned out to be a rather starry evening while one of the leading Indian designers Abu Jani Sandeep Khosla presented an amazing collection entitled 'Legacy, an ode to textiles and embroidery'. # 39; India & # 39; for the benefit of the Cancer Patients Aid Association (CPAA). And celebrities such as Sonam Kapoor, Karan Johar and Shweta Bachchan have joined forces to advance the cause of the heart.

The collection, which was an ode to India's rich legacy of textile and embroidery, gave the trio a more elegant appearance than ever before.

The evening of style and substance saw Sonam Kapoor enter a traditional dance – a whirlwind while she sashayed on the ramp in a charming anarkali chikankari in ivory by the designer duo. She finished the look with a gajra bun and clbadic baalis sweater. The film was to do with the upcoming movie, the melodious piece of Kalank "Ghar More Pardesiya" playing in the background.

Shweta Bachchan presented two outfits: an ivory and gold lehenga and a lehenga with a bridal mirror in shades of red and pink.

Karan Johar created the biggest surprise by setting fire to the ramp in an elegant ivory gold sherwani (in keeping with the theme). He finished the look with a matching stole and Gucci glbades. On his other look, he wore a sherwani in the traditional red and blue print.

The evening was enriched by proud parents, Amitabh and Jaya Bachchan, who claimed their daughter while she was setting fire to her ramp.
