Rising Star 3: Neeti Mohan, Shankar Mahadevan and Diljit Dosanjh are criticized for a joke the night before

Rising Star 3 is a live singing reality show in which competitors' performances determine their fate. Popular singers Neeti Mohan, Shankar Mahadevan and Diljit Dosanjh judge the reality TV show sung and also supervise the candidates. Recently, the program has sparked controversy, during which Internet users have taken revenge against judges for taking lightly such a serious problem as teasing.

On Saturday, during the second half of the show, two best friends, Shikhar Rastogi and Kunal Bojewar, participated. Kunal told the judges that his best friend Shikhar had a crush on Neeti. He added that she had the air "Kadak and Raapchik & # 39; in a red sari.

Neeti is angry at Shikhar and Kunal for using such dirty language on national television. In a short time, Diljit and Shankar agreed with Neeti and criticized the candidates for using cheap words. Neeti told them that she represented all the girls and that even the channel would not approve of such behavior.

Neeti threatened to leave the show and decided to disqualify them. However, Diljit asked him to give Kunal a chance. She finally agreed but asked Shikhar to leave.

Shikhar is surprised by the incident and begins to tremble. Later, Neeti, Diljit and Shankar laughed. They told them it was a joke. Later, both competitors hit Neeti's feet and performed on the stage. They impressed everyone with their performance and were selected for the next round.

But the farce, to which the judges also participated, would have left everyone in shock. Netizens mentioned that last year, several women raised their voices during the #Metoomovement in India. Despite this, the judges felt that it was fun to turn a serious problem, like saying nothing, into jokes.

Women's rights activists Kirthi Jayakumar and Chinmayi Sirpaada expressed their anger on Twitter and reprimanded the judges for their actions. Chinmayi even shared his troubles of being banned by TN's union of doublers. She wrote that she was still fighting Mr. Vairamuthu for calling him during the #MeToo move.

Look at the comments below –

And now @diljitdosanjh apologized to them !! @Shankar_Live says that it was a joke of one competitor over another. Because of your general way of dealing with such a serious problem, the badual harbadment industry is totally ZERO.

Terrible that @ neetimohan18 says that she represents all the girls on the scene and then threatens to go out in response to a clearly inappropriate and verbal badual harbadment, then makes fun of the joke. Seriously, badual harbadment is not a joke.

Oh. Ma. God. It's disgusting. Aditya Narayan has just asked Diwakar Sharma, who is blind, to describe the appearance of each of the judges. I am so sick of this apathy and disrespect. Disability is not a joke, insensitive people.

– Kirthi (@kirthijayakumar) 23 March 2019

I sincerely hope that you all reflect on how you have undermined such a serious problem. You have completely disrespected the emotional work that is required to fight harbadment, speak out and seek redress. You have reduced everything to a joke @ neetimohan18 @Shankar_Live @diljitdosanjh

Hi Shankar Sir and Neeti – I called Mr. Vairamuthu and was banned by the TN Duplicators Union.

Please, be aware that this is not funny. I am fighting a court case.

Although support would have been great, this dull tone of "joke" could have been avoided.
