The gods and goddesses return to the film Marvel Eternals . Angelina Jolie, who won an Oscar for her role in Girl, Interrupted is in talks to join the next film adaptation of Jack Kirby The Eternals according to Variety. The film, which comes from Disney and Marvel Studios, will be directed by Chloe Zhao.
The Eternals are a hidden race living on Earth and their creators were gods of space called the Celestials who visited the Earth 5 million years ago. They performed genetic experiments on the first forms of life on Earth, giving them cosmic powers and near-immortality. The Eternals were created to serve the good and are sworn enemies of the Deviants, also created by the Celestials. Eternals and Deviants have existed for thousands of years and are often confused with local gods and other mythological characters. The Eternals are incredibly beautiful, while the mutated Deviants are grotesque – they act like a cult and think that the world was created for them. You may remember that the mythology of Eternals was briefly mentioned in the films Guardians of the Galaxy by introducing their introduction in phase 4.
Unfortunately, no one knows who will play Jolie. She will be the next star of the movie Maleficent: Mistress Of Evil one of the four live feature film adaptations of Disney this year, alongside Dumbo, Aladdin and [19659004]. She will also play in the live-action / animation hybrid The One and Only Ivan .
Chinese director Chloe Zhao ( The Horseman, The Songs My Brother Learned ) is currently in post-production on the film Nomadland performed by Frances McDormand
The film Eternals should include the first overtly homobadual character of Marvel. Marvel currently has nine untitled films on the release calendar between 2019 and 2022, but no release date for Eternals has been announced.
