The rapper I Like It is addressed to a 3 year old Instagram Live video in which she recounted that she had drugged and stolen men at the time where she was a stripper in the Bronx.
"So I see on social media that a concert I did 3 years ago has resurfaced, a live show where I talked about things I had to do in my past, right or wrong. that I felt I had to do to make a living, "wrote Cardi B in a message posted on Instagram on Tuesday." I never pretend to be perfect or come from a perfect world, a spirit [sic] a perfect past, I always tell me my truth, I still have my bad. "

She then wrote: "I have never glorified the things that I mentioned in this concert. [sic] I have never even added these things to my music because I do not have any. I'm not proud of it and I feel responsible for not glorifying them. "
"I did what I had to do to survive," she added.
