Art is selling and how! At an auction, a Harry Potter novel would have been sold for 70,000 euros because the title is misspelled on the cover. As stated in the daily mail, this unique copy was part of the first 500 editions of Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone where the title on the back is misspelled "Harry Potter and Philospheric Stone".

The copy is special also because, on the author's signature page, it bears the original print that was called J K Rowling by her first name, Joanne. The book was first published in 1997 and sold for 68,800 euros at Bonhams Auction House in Knightsbridge, West London.

Harry Potter is a series of fantasy novels written by British author JK Rowling from 1997 to 2007. The novels were later adapted into a series of films starring Daniel Radcliffe as a titular magician . The series, fiction novels and films, have generated a large audience, composed of readers adults and younger. Rowling's work is also considered the cornerstone of modern and popular literature for young adults.

The movie series was an equally successful adventure. Rowling appeared as a consultant for all films made between 2001 and 2011. Rowling currently writes derivative novels Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them which is also becoming a film series simultaneously, starring Eddie Redmayne, Jude Law, Johnny Depp and Katherine Waterston in lead roles. Rowling plays the role of screenwriter in the film series.
