The icon of Asian cinema Jackie Chan organized a special dinner for the Indian actor Sonu Sood, during which they discussed planning for a second installment of their film Kung Fu Yoga . Sonu had played with Chan in Stanley Tong's comedy 2017 action, Kung Fu Yoga.
When Chan, who is currently shooting for Vanguard with Tong in Dubai, learns that Sonu is also in the same city, they decide to organize a dinner for him.
"The whole dinner was very special.Everybody was so moved," said Sonu in a statement. "Friendship is not just about words, it stays with you, it really made me emotional," he added.
Sonu went on Instagram to share pictures of the dinner. He commented on the post: "Some links are for life. Thank you Brother Jackie Chan and Stanley Tong for this lovely dinner. It was great to catch up after so long. I still love you … And everything is ready for Kung Fu Yoga 2. "
According to one source, Sonu would be very close to Chan and his family. "When they learned that Sonu was in Dubai, they finished filming early to organize an exclusive dinner at an Italian restaurant.
