The American actress Angelina Jolie is preparing to debut in the world of superhero movies. The Oscar-winning actor is in discussion to play in "The Eternals" of Marvel Studio, a feature-length film about the superhero team, reported The Hollywood Reporter. The film is directed by Chloé Zhao. Created by Jack Kirby in 1976, the story of the next film takes place millions of years ago when cosmic beings, known as Celestials, were genetically experimented on humans for to create overpowering individuals, the Eternals and the evil Deviants, reported Variety. Both groups clashed throughout history. The Eternals also fought with Greek, Roman and Nordic deities before leaving Earth to explore the stars. Zhao's credits include "The Rider" and "Songs My Brothers Taught Me". The script will be written by Matthew and Ryan Firpo. The next superhero movie is produced by Marvel Studios' head Kevin Feige. The upcoming projects of the actor also include "Come Away," a fantastic drama directed by Brenda Chapman.
