Rishi Dev alias Naksh of Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai announced his return in December 2018. The actor played the role of Naksh for over two years and fans love his chemistry at the screen with Mohena Kumari Singh. He had posted a long message on Instagram saying, "Playing Naksh Singhania was amazing, why? Each day, face new challenges when it comes to making scenes in order to reach millions of hearts, forging links with co-actors to allow millions of fans to feel point we are really connected, to eat healthy to be at the best of every look, wait for labels to see how much you love me as naksh and give back love in the best way possible! The actor recently told TOI that he had already shot his final episode a few days ago and that the team was already missing it. He said: "I shot for my last episode a few days ago and Mohena and others miss me already, and vice versa. But overall, it has been a nice two year trip as a Naksh and I can not thank my fans too much for their love and support. We wonder who will replace the actor in the series.
