What will be announced this Monday evening?
What will be announced tonight Monday night?

What is it?

WWE Chief Brand Officer Stephanie McMahon will appear in the episode of Monday Night Raw tonight to make an announcement regarding the women's title game at WrestleMania.

Although the announcement is currently unknown, it is thought that it will be the women's SmackDown Championship won by Charlotte. Flair last week.

In case you do not know …

The Raw Women's Championship match between Flair, Becky Lynch and Ronda Rousey was announced as the main event of WrestleMania 35 last Monday.

Flair would shock the wrestling world the next day she defeated Asuka in an impromptu match to win the women's championship at SmackDown two weeks before her main historic event.

The heart of the problem

The following is an excerpt from the article The WWE published on its website regarding the appearance of McMahon in the series :

Stephanie McMahon will appear in the Raw final before WrestleMania 35 with an announcement about WrestleMania's first main women's event, with Raw women's champion Ronda Rousey defending her title against a new Charlotte Flair and Becky Lynch, women's champion of SmackDown, during a Triple Threat Match.

What new news will Stephanie deliver and how could she further alter the landscape of one of the most anticipated major events in the history of WrestleMania?

The announcement of the main event of WrestleMania could lead to one of the following scenarios:

The first scenario is that the company announces a match "The winner takes everything" The winner of the triple threat match wins the Women's Raw and SmackDown Championships.

However, the second, less logical, scenario would be to put the title at stake according to the pinned wrestler.

If Lynch Rousey, for example, would win the Raw Women's Championship but not the SmackDown Women's Championship. Or if Rousey or Flair pinned Lynch, neither of the two titles would change hands, but that's pure speculation.

What's next?

There are fans who hope that Asuka will get a different match on the card, but she does. currently announced to participate in WrestleMania Women's Battle Royal.

Regardless of the decision made by Stephanie McMahon, the main event for women at WrestleMania will be more than different from the one announced last week.
