Producer Asit Modi says that he will have to look for someone to play the role of Dayaben played by Disha Vakani in Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah. Details inside.
Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah is one of the oldest shows of Indian television and, even after almost a decade, fans continue to send him love. The show made actors names familiar with their characters and the particular nature of the series. Well, if Indian TV has a major delivery of the show, it is none other than Dayaben, which was played by Disha Vakani on the show. However, it seems that we might not see her anymore in the show.
As we know, Disha took a maternity break in September 2017 and since then her return has not been updated. So, producer Asit Modi, while chatting with Times of India, added that he had little choice but to start looking for a new Dayaben because nothing and neither no one was bigger than the series. The producer also explained that some women took maternity breaks and then returned to work soon. Today, the team has waited long enough.
