Naga Chaitanya awaits the release of "Majili & # 39; April 5th. A subject that is close to his heart because it is his first film with his wife Samantha since their wedding, "Majili & # 39; chose the right release date. In this interview, Chay explains how the project unfolded and why he helped Sam become his wife, director Shiva Nirvana and more.

On Tuesday, you were in Tirumala for a darshan. Are you a religious person?

I went there because Samantha took me there. I am neutral I am not against poojas and ceremonies, nor against.

How do you see the failure of love, an aspect that is the key to "Majili"? Have you ever had a break in life?

Failure is common to all of us. This leads to pain. The film is about how we overcome pain. Coming into my life, yes, I have had heartbreaks. But they only made me stronger, a bit like chess on the professional front.

How did you work with Samantha after your wedding?

As I knew Samantha's body language and work style, everything was fluid. We could work on the scenes in advance, Shiva Nirvana giving us the scenes in advance. If we meet a story as new as "Majili", we will certainly do it.

What kind of work did you have to do to play the role of the cricketer?

I practiced cricket for four months before. the film was brought to the floors. I was coached by a Satish. I also talked to my brother Akhil (Akhil plays cricket well)

What makes "Majili" a special project for you?

The fact that it is a very realistic film that refuses to take cinematographic liberties. Even the songs and the fights are very organic. Nothing is forced. This is also what kind of scenario I wanted to do with Samantha after the wedding. We have already made acclaimed hits such as "Ye Maya Chesave" and "Manam". Something unique had to be there for us to meet. And Shiva Nirvana had such an idea.

How did it work with Shiva?

I loved his "Ninnu Kori", especially his climax. He did not reunite the head pair just because they are the head pair. He went through the script. As for "Majili", he worked and reworked several scenes. It took him 7 months to complete the delimited script. During this process, we talked a lot and he became my good friend.

Expectations are high on the climax.

The climax will see a conversation between Sam and me. The second half is about arguments, conversations between different characters. But it is not at all monotonous. Everything is done in an interesting way. For example, after the interval, a heated argument takes place between me and Posani garu. It's a special moment for me.

Have you looked at the final version?

Yes. I made it a point to watch it only after the RR was done. When it comes to romantic movies, you can not watch it without RR. Thaman did a good job. Gopi Sunder could not do it because he was busy. We thought we could not postpone the film because April 5th is the right date.

Are you willing to try different genres?

I want to do different genres, but the public accepts me more in romantic movies. I want to make honest movies. Arjun Reddy has broken many rules. If the actors have to make such films, one should first offer them such roles. They should be convinced to do it.

What about "Venky Mama" and the movie with Dil Raju?

"Venky Mama" will be finished in June or July. Post-production work alone will be pending. A schedule is scheduled later this month. Working with (uncle) Venkatesh garu was great. He is a very energetic actor. I am a big fan of his comic timing, especially after "F2".

Regarding the project of Dil Raju garu, I will listen to the script after the release of "Majili" this week. I have not engaged in any other project to date.
