In a recent interview with Total Film magazine, Avengers' directors: Endgame, Joe and Anthony Russo, explain why the film arrived after just over three hours, as reported by GamesRadar. [19659005] "It's 10 years of one of the greatest experiences in film history that's coming to an end, and you know, it's an epic story that's about three hours," said Joe Russo.
A few minutes later, Anthony Russo said that it was usually up to both of them to exert this pressure.
"Joe and I like very propulsive stories, we like to stay focused on precision and concentration, and to give viewers a real pleasure, but this film … you know, no one pushed us to cut the film. We are usually – we are pushing ourselves first, "he said.
Anthony continued, explaining that the duo was aware of the outcome of the infinite as a whole. The saga would be long. 19659008] "We suspect did it," he said. "Again, the number of characters, the scope of the story, the fact that it's all about it. ;a conclusion. It's just that everything was aligned [so] and that it was going to be a hard story to tell. This meant that it would take a lot
Screenwriters for Avengers: Endgame, Infinity War, and many other MCU films, Christopher Markus and Stephen McFeely, also held out to length, saying that it is impossible to create more than 20 movies.
"It always seemed like it was not a film in which you had to cut in order to gain efficiency," Markus said. "They put – what is it? – 44 hours of sitting in. I do not think there's anyone there who says to himself: & # 39; Ok, I have to go out here in 85 minutes, I want a nice and quick conclusion – "You have won a long and satisfying conclusion to the story you are telling. So I do not think anyone wanted to trade for a quick box office. Even looking at it, it does not feel like a slog.
