The trial court found him guilty of the murder of two Blackbucks. The actor had to spend two nights in jail, after which he was released on bail. In an official statement, Salman Khan's lawyer, Anand Desai, said: "In the present case, the Hon. Court has acquitted the five co-defendants, which would imply that Salman was hunting alone in the middle of the night a remote area outside Jodhpur.We preferred to appeal the decision of the Hon Sessions Court and we requested an urgent hearing today. "
