Akshay Kumar vs. John Abraham vs. Ajay Devgn: Who Is The King Of The Bollywood Patriotic Cinema? | Bollywood

This week will see the release of John Abraham's latest patriotic film, RAW – Romeo Akbar Walter. Considered a true story, the film will show John several roles, as it plays a central role in the history of India and takes place during the Indo-Pakistani conflict of 1971.

"Talking about the kind of movies that I do "We are all lovers of India, we love the country and somewhere, we all think that we are attracted to a film that is very dear to us."

Akshay Kumar recently delivered one of his greatest hits, the Kesari war drama. The film recorded the largest opening of the year to date and reached 130 million rupees in the domestic market. Kesari is the latest in a series of patriotic movies starring Akshay, most of which have been popular among the mbades. "This film will always be very special since I wore the uniform [army] that has always been very close to me," Akshay said recently in an interview.

The third actor to have starred in similar-themed films is Ajay Devgn, whose Raid film, released in 2018, has almost reached the 100 Rs crore mark on the domestic market.

As John said, the actor has been seduced by nationalist films in recent years. Their upcoming list includes more movies of this type, John playing the role of a cop in a movie based on the Batla House shooting. Akshay will play in Mission Mangal, based on the first Indian interplanetary mission, and will also play Prithviraj Chauhan in an upcoming film. Ajay will appear in the Tanhaji drama: The Unsung Warrior and in a film based on Bhuj: The Pride of India.

Among the three, Akshay leads the way in volumes, and therefore at the box office. Even films that are not overtly patriotic find a way to insert nationalistic ideas in a certain way, for example Rustom and Jolly LLB 2.

Here's a sneak peek of Akshay's recent films , at the box office and how they were received by the critics.
