After playing alongside Jugal Hansraj and Anupam Kher in "Papa Kehte Hain", Mayuri Kangoo became a well-known face of the '90s. The film even boasted of the timeless song "Ghar Se Nikalte Hi" rehashed and remixed by new artists. The actress had left the world of showbiz in the early 2000s to join the corporate world while she is now working with Google.

Since becoming famous with Mahesh Bhatt's "Papa Kehte Hain" and now living a successful life as a leader in the Google India agency sector, Mayoori has made different way.

Mayoori made his debut in the entertainment world at the age of 15. She chose the films before joining IIT Kanpur and then made her film debut with the film "Naseem" (2002), winner of a national award. She later appeared in films such as "Papa Kehte Hain", "Betaabi", "Hogi Pyaar Ki Jeet", "Badal" and "Papa the Great".

She also presented programs such as "Kaahin Kissii Roz", "Kittie Party", "Kkusum" and "Kya Hadsaa Kya Haqeeqat".

She shares the screen with big stars like Ajay Devgn, Anupam Kher, Arshad Warsi, Shakti Kapoor, Bobby Deol, Rani Mukerji, Chandrachur Singh and Jugal Hansraj.

While she continued to receive offers, she left everything to marry NRI Aditya Dhillon in December 2003, before moving to the United States. She then pursued an MBA in Marketing and Finance from the City University of New York-Baruch College – Zicklin School of Business.

She started working there with a New York-based digital agency called 360i as an badociate media manager. She worked in the United States from 2004 to 2012. Mayoori returned to India and settled in Gurgaon after the birth of her son. She now commutes between three cities – Delhi, Mumbai and Bengaluru.
