Bollywood actor Amitabh Bachchan is currently working on his first Tamil film, Uyarntha Manithan alongside Ramya Krishnan and SJ Suryah, paying tribute to Shivaji Ganeshan and calling himself a disciple of the late actor-director.
Shivaji was an actor, producer, and composer who led the Tamil industry for decades. He has more than 250 Tamil films, apart from titles in Telugu and Malayalam. He has received four Filmfare Awards South, a National Film Award (Special Jury) and the Dadasaheb Phalke Award.
Uyarntha Manithan is currently shooting and pictures of the sets are filming online. The film brings together Ramya and Amitabh 20 years after their collaboration in Bade Miyan, Chote Miyan

Amitabh Bachchan shared pictures of sets and tweeted "T 3141 – Two disciples in Master's shadow – Shivaji Ganesan .. Surya and oneself! "One of the pictures shows Suryah and Amitabh looking up while the other has Big B dancing alone in a room. Both images show Shivaji's image hanging on the wall.

At the launch of Uyarntha Manithan l 39 last year, Suryah said, "Even before venturing into the show, I've been wanting that moment to work with him (Bachchan). Now, seeing it happen throws gold in my veins, but at the same time, I am nervous to imagine that I am going to share the screen with it. "
Suryah had also revealed that Big B was installed side 35 days for this project.
