Directed by Ashvin Kumar, who also appears in the film, No Fathers In Kashmir is a love story set in the context of Kashmir, where two 16-year-old children are searching for their missing father and fall on a dark secret process. Soni describes the role of a Kashmiri mother whose only son is taken over by the armed forces and disappears thereafter.

Explaining what attracted him to the film, Soni had already said, "When Ashvin sent me the script for the first time, I was immediately drawn to his fascinating story. And it's so refreshing to see a filmmaker writing about Kashmir a story that is not just a love story or a kind of action drama. It's a movie that tells the truth and shows the reality. Being half Cachemiri, it's always special for me to tour The Valley and be there with locals. They are all very warm, very hospitable and distinguished people, who always welcome everyone with an open heart. "

No Fathers In Kashmir Stars Zara Webb, Shivam Raina, Ashvin Kumar, Kulbhushan Kharbanda, Sarao Maya, Soni Razdan And Anshuman After a long battle with the Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC), the film is finally in theaters on Friday, April 5.
