Divya Bharti was a star in the '90s. In addition to her doll face, Divya was a phenomenal performer whose versatility attracted audiences to theaters. After receiving offers since the age of 14, Divya debuted at Bollywood in the hit movie Vishwatma, which continues to air on TV channels even today. Saat samundar being one of the most popular songs of the 90s, the sudden and untimely death of Divya took the industry by a storm. It is today, 26 years ago, that Divya died at the age of 19.
While moviegoers mourn her death, Divya's co-star, Kartavya, shared a regression picture of the actress on the occasion of her death anniversary. He wrote: "We will always miss you, # 5 April # 1993 # 26th anniversary of the New Year #divyabharti" But the film has never been broadcast with Divya sharing the screen space with Sanjay. Divya had shot about 30% of the film, but after his untimely death, the actress was replaced by Juhi Chawla and the film was finally released in 1995.
Divya was at her home on the fifth floor of the Tulsi Apartments in Versova, along with designer Neeta Lulla, her husband, Shyam and home help Amrita during the fatal evening of April 5th. Even before the guests knew it, Divya had fallen out of the balcony and landed in a pool of her own blood. She was immediately taken to the hospital where internal injuries and head injuries were reported as the cause of death. Although she was cremated on April 7, people continue to speculate on the cause of her death, even today. From suicide to accidental death, no reason has yet been given, but her doll-shaped face continues to miss the screen.
