Following the honorary doctorates of the University of Bedfordshire and the University of Edinburgh, superstar Shah Rukh Khan received an honorary doctorate in philanthropy from the University of London Law .

The actor received merit at a graduation ceremony at over 350 students here on Thursday. Over the years, he has established himself as an actor, film producer, television host, philanthropist and successful entrepreneur.

The actor "My name is Khan" also won the love to defend human rights in India. He has supported Indian government campaigns, including those of Pulse Polio and the National Aids Control Organization.

SRK went on his Twitter page to share a photo of the congratulatory ceremony. He thanked the University of Law for awarding him his doctorate and wrote that it would encourage his team to do more good work.
