Batman's rival, Joker, has always been everyone's favorite. And now, Joaquin Phoenix will play one of DC Universe's most beloved characters, the Joker.

The film's first poster created a huge buzz around the world, and filmmakers have now dropped the trailer for the film. It gives an insight into the character of Joaquin, Arthur, a clown and Gotham comedian. He goes through many hardships, however, his mother asks him: "smile and take a happy face".

Previously, Heath Ledger played the role of Joker in Batman: Christopher Nolan's The Dark Knight, while Jared Leto played the role in "Suicide Squad".
The film will be released in cinemas on October 4, 2019.
