Debut
Mayoori debuted at age 15 with "Naseem &" , Winner of a national prize of 15 with the film winner of the National Film Award, Naseem in 1995.
For the uninitiated, she had chosen Bollywood to enroll at the IIT Kanpur at the time.
During a career of more than 10 years, Mayoori worked in fifteen films and several television shows.
However, she left the showbiz after marrying NRI Aditya Dhillon in 2003.
Career
Previously, Mayoori was Executive Director of Performics
After moving to the United States, she joined the corporate sector in 2003.
For a few years, she worked for the 360i digital agency, based in New York, as badociate media manager.
The 36-year-old then took up the position of executive director of Performics.
She was also badociated with Zenith as a digital manager.
Mayoori returned to India after the birth of her son
Mayoori also pursued an MBA in Marketing and Finance from the City University of New York-Baruch College – Zicklin School of Business. She reportedly worked in the United States until 2012, but would have returned to India after the birth of her son. She currently lives in Gurugram.
