John Abraham's Romeo Akbar Walter took a decent departure Friday as Rs. The film has seen a solo release since Prime Minister Narendra Modi was advanced from A week.
The last release of John Abraham Satyameva Jayate had been collected. on Rs. 20 crore the first day. It was an exception however because of its appeal to drama and its deep meaning. Romeo Akbar Walter is more comparable to Parmanu – The story of Pokharan who had a first day of Russians. 4.82 crore, given its realistic treatment and the fact that it is also based on real events. In this sense, this film by Robbie Grewal has done better.
The film was expected to bring in RS. 6-7 crore the first day and the collections go in the same direction. The film has received reviews ranging from average to very good and it should therefore see how this help and the resulting collections jump over the rest of the weekend.
