Dinesh also mentioned that for Irrfan, it was like a day of filming without emotion. He added: "With ironic humor, crisp one-liners and back on his own ground, Deepak and his improvisations have demolished the house. It was like the first day of Hindi way. "Unlike the average Hindi where Irrfan was playing Raj Batra, in the sequel, one would see him playing the owner of a Mithai family business with his brother played by Deepak Dobriyal. Manu Rishi will also play the role of store owner sweet and will be a rival to Irrfan and Deepak.
The first day of filming Angrezi Medium was held in Udaipur, Rajasthan. After that, the team will move to London because the story is about Irrfan's daughter who wants to study in the UK.
