Actors Alia Bhatt, Janhvi Kapoor, Ananya Pandey and Tara Sutaria, as well as several other stars, attended an event organized by Sabyasachi on Saturday and photos of the appearance on the red carpet were posted online. Designer Sabyasachi Mukherjee launched a new collection Saturday to commemorate his 20 years in the company.
Sabyasachi launched the new collection, titled "Kashgaar Bazaar: Discovering", in collaboration with French fashion designer Christian Louboutin.
Alia, who is preparing for the release of her first-time drama, Kalank, wore a green saree for the event and tied her hair in a simple pony. She completed the look with big earrings and minimal makeup.
Actors Ananya Pandey and Tara Sutaria were also spotted at the event. Tara and Ananya will debut in Bollywood with Student of the Year 2, which also includes Tiger Shroff.
When Janhvi shared her red carpet look for the event, fans began to compare her to her late mother and actor Sridevi.
Directors Anurag Kashyap and Kalki Koechlin sat in front of the red carpet alongside the filmmaker's daughter, Aaliyah. Anurag and Kalki, who met on Dev D's 2008 shootings, divorced in 2015 – four years after making the knot.
Later, Kalki shared a video with Aaliyah and the subtitled: "We are not cute. 19659008] Couples Farhan Akhtar and Shibani Dandekar were also seen together. They posed with the man of the hour, Sabyasachi.
