Actor Ananya Panday made her magazine cover debut before her film debut. The actor shared the cover – for the April issue of Elle India – on her Instagram account. She also shared a behind-the-scenes video of the shoot, in which she talks about the process of filming the cover in "the beautiful city of Palermo".

Ananya will debut in Bollywood with Student of the Year 2, alongside Tiger Shroff and compatriot Tara Sutaria. The film is directed by Punit Malhotra and produced by Karan Johar. The first SOTY, which was directed by Karan, launched actors Alia Bhatt, Varun Dhawan and Sidharth Malhotra.
