Sunny Wayne himself went on his Facebook page to share a photo taken after the ceremony. In the photo, Sunny was dressed in traditional veshti and a tulsi garland with his wife dressed in a blue and white Kerala sari.

Sunny Wayne, whose real name is Sujith Unnikrishnan, made his film debut in Second Show in 2012. starring Dulquer Salmaan. He then delivered several hits such as Neelakasham Pachakadal Chuvanna Bhoomi still with Dulquer, and Kayamkulam Kochunni the Nivin-Mohanlal starter in which he plays the antagonist.
He was last seen in the film Malayalam in June and was commended for his performance while he was just doing a little cameo.
